Whispers, Songs, Ghosts of the Past, 2005

One-act mixed media performance which follows a woman through breast cancer. During her treatment she remembers the loss of her mother and cousin to breast cancer.  This is an explicit portrait of  the lover who stays by her side – and then leaves;  the woman who lets her go and moves on to survive. ’Whispers’ chronicles my journey through breast cancer treatment incorporating monologue, film and songs.
